The Three Good Fairies
At the beginning of the film when Giselle’s family move in, the three gardeners are at work in red, green and blue outfits. This parallel to the good fairies from Sleeping Beauty is even more pointed after they offer to babysit and that they're good at “nap time.”
Once the town is transformed by Giselle’s spell, the three gardeners attain real fairy wings.
Sentient Household Appliances
Throughout the film, household appliances begin to talk and operate on their own - a clear reference to Beauty and the Beast.
Be Our Guest
Another Beauty and the Beast reference is seen during a musical number where the townspeople of Monroelasia sing about their magical life. In the catchy tune, the cast chant “Be our guest.”
Morgan’s "Ariel" Pose
At the end of the song Perfect Morgan leans over a pile of boxers just as a townswoman splashes a bucket of water behind her. The pose and water splash is almost a perfect recreation of Ariel’s famous pose in The Little Mermaid.
Let It Go
During one musical number, Nancy sings "Let it grow, Let it glow” - an obvious play on the famous Frozen tune. What’s even more clever is that Nancy is played by Idina Menzel, who also voiced Elsa in Frozen.
