The singer, who is due to perform in Australia early next year, announced that shows in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong will not go ahead, and the rest of his tour in uncertain.
"A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong," the statement read.
"I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details."
It was also revealed that Sheeran was not the one who typed the message as both of his arms are in casts.
Sheeran's announcement comes after he was hit by a car whilst riding his bike through London.
The 'Perfect' singer was due to perform 12 shows across Australia in March 2018.
Stay tuned for more details on whether the concerts will go ahead.
