Ed Sheeran confirms his appearance on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke

Ed Sheeran continues his return to the spotlight!

The 'Castle on the Hill' singer revealed that he will be riding alongside Late Late Show host James Corden in his hugely popular Carpool Karaoke segment. 

The 25-year-old admitted that his appearance on the viral segment has been a long time coming. 

"I've been in touch with James Corden about this for three years because he wanted me to do the first one, and I just wasn't around. I can confirm that at some point this year I will be doing Carpool Karaoke," he told Capital FM.

The Grammy Award winner went onto admit that he would want his ride-a-long with Corden, 38, to be very different to his own style of music. 

"I know the whole thing is singing to your tune, but I think I'd feel a bit awkward singing to my song," the 'Shape of You' singer admitted. "I think I'd just want to put on some Biggie.

"I want to put on something really awkward and dirty, like Biggie's song, 'Big Booty Hoes,' or something like that," he teased, "and just hear James Corden sing along to that."
