With things at Emily’s French marketing firm, Savoir, falling apart under the leadership of her American boss, Madeline, we saw her colleagues Sylvie, Luc and Julien walk out of the firm.
While Sylvie has offered Emily a role at the new firm she’s creating, based on the questionable notion that ‘she’s good at her job’, we were left waiting to find out if Emily would choose to stay in Paris or head back home to Chicago.
Meanwhile, her British boyfriend, Alfie, has said he is returning to London, but that the distance between there and France would be manageable for the pair.
Despite this, we saw Emily try again to profess her love for Gabriel, only to find out he’s back with Emily’s stunning pal, Camille.
And Mindy? The best character in the show? While we're expecting a lot more singing, we'd also like to know what happens between her and her penniless musician lover, Benoît.
So, when can we expect the answers to our many, many questions?
No official dates have been handed down for production, filming, or release – just a simple statement from Lily Collins is pretty much all we have to go on.
“Woke up early to give you some VERY exciting news … @emilyinparis is back for Season 3 … AND wait for it, Season 4!!!” she penned alongside a photo of herself, posing in an Emily in Paris t-shirt.
“I can’t tell if Emily would love or hate this announcement outfit but she’d be screaming either way,” she joked.
“Truly love you all, thanks so much for the incredible support. Seriously cannot wait for more. Merci Beaucoup!!”
The post was met with excitement from Lily’s castmates.
“Yaaaaay 🔥🔥🔥❤️,” wrote Camille Razat, who plays Camille.
“YESSSS CUTIIIE HERE WE GO. God I can’t wait to hug youuuuu ❤️,” added Ashley Park, who plays Mindy.
“You look lovely chérie! 😍,” commented Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, who stars as Emily’s hardened boss, Sylvie.
We can’t wait to see this lot back together and filming once more!
