Bachelor alum Alex Nation has shared her first proper update since giving birth to her second son, Maxwell Keegan Jory, 12 days ago.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the now mum-of-two thanked fans and followers via video for their kind, supportive messages in in relation to the birth.
“I know it’s been a little while, but as you can imagine my family and I have been in such a loved-up Maxwell bubble for the last 11 days,” she said.
“I just wanted to jump on here and say a big thank you to all of you who have sent me the most beautiful messages for the arrival of little Maxwell.”
“I do read them all, and it’s been so lovely going through them over the last few days.”
The former reality star also did a quick Q&A on her stories, where she explained that it was a quick birth, and asked if people would like to hear more about the birth story, which can probably be expected soon.
One follower asked how she was, to which she replied: “I am content, tired, and so incredibly happy. Thank you for asking.”
Alex also revealed that Elijah, her eldest son from a previous relationship, loves having a sibling.
“He is a such fantastic big brother and helper. I feel so lucky,” she remarked.
Alex has also shared a few photos of baby Maxwell to her grid, showing mostly a head of very thick hair.
“One week of Maxwell and I’m still yet to come down from this high 💫,” she posted over the weekend.
The reality TV star announced the birth of her son three days after the fact, sharing his birth date and writing “His entrance was intense and it was beautiful. We are so in love.”
Maxwell is Alex’s second son and her first with boyfriend Carson Jory. His middle name Keegan is after Carson’s late brother.
Back in 2016, Alex rose to fame when she won Richie Strahan’s heart on season four of The Bachelor, whom she dated for about a year.
The pair saw each other again on season two of Bachelor in Paradise, with Alex later revealing that producers tricked her into coming onto the show.
“They actually told me that Richie declined three times. But, apparently, 48 hours before flying out to Fiji he changed his mind,” she said after the experience.
