But, It turns out he’s not the only one impressed. Earlier this month, Margot Robbie told Buro247.com that she too “swooned” over the Hollywood hunk.

“My mind went blank as soon as I saw him shirtless… Every girl on set was swooning, I think, when they saw him,” she said. “He worked so hard to get in that kind of shape. I would never have had the discipline that he needed to spend so many months training and dieting to achieve that look. I really admire him for that.” He revealed on The Project last night that he endured 8 months of starvation in preparation for the role of Tarzan.”

Although is seems the undeniable chemistry between Tarzan and Jane is apparent, Skarsgard is rumoured to be dating English fashion icon Alexa Chung.

Sources told Daily Mail: “Alexa’s relationship with Alex is going great. That’s why she was happy for him to meet her family – she would only ever introduce someone she was serious about to them.”

The Legend of Tarzan is a little different to other Tarzan films. It’s a modern day version of a boy brought up with apes in the jungle… Except the film opens with Tarzan living in London and married to Jane.

It looks like Alex is channeling his inner Tarzan when he posed with animals in Sydney Zoo on Tuesday.
