Tim Gilbert may have just given us a hint that he has left the Today show.
The sports reporter created an Instagram account but failed to mention his role on the breakfast TV show in his bio, instead opting for the following: ‘Nine, Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust, Panthers, Blues, The Star, John Newell Mazda, MJ Bale!’
Last week, the Daily Telegraph reported that Gilbert has been axed from the struggling show.
According to the publication a source at the network revealed, ‘It is a bloodbath in there’.
Meanwhile a spokesperson for the network told the Daily Mail that they ‘are not commenting on speculation’.
Tim has been with the network since 1996, working as a sport presenter, commentator, reporter and producer.
