With the help of IVF and a sperm donor, Australian singer Natalia Imbruglia, 44, is pregnant with her first child!

The singer— known for her 1997 hit single, Torn— announced the exciting news on Instagram, revealing not only had she signed a new record deal but a baby is on the way.
“I’m very happy to announce that I have just signed a record deal with BMG!! What an AMAZING team,” she began. “And as you can see from the pic.. there is another announcement… (no I haven’t swallowed a watermelon). I’m expecting my first child this Autumn. For those of you who know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time.
“I’m blessed that this is possible with the help of IVF (in vitro fertilisation) and a sperm donor. I’m so excited about this next adventure… a new album and I’m going to be a mum!”
Many of the mum-to-be’s pals— including Spice Girls member Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm— commented on her post, wishing her well.
“You’re gonna be an AMAZING Mummy and you’re already an AMAZING recording artist,” Chisholm went on. “Love ya 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕.”
“Yay!!!!!! Congratulations,” Australian-British singer-songwriter Elizabeth Hurley wrote.
Natalie— who starred on Neighbours in the ’90s and later returned to acting for Rowan Atkinson’s 2003’s Bond spoof Johnny English— has had a colourful dating history. The former X factor judge was married to Silverchair frontman Daniel John for four years before calling it quits in 2009. She also dated David Schwimmer, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Martin, and most recently, photographer Matt Field.
