Casey Donovan has a new part-time job.
The 28-year-old singer has told The Daily Telegraph that she has become an Uber driver this year.
“I’ve been recognised a few times,” she says. Donovan also adds, “I’ve been asked to sing.”
The new job is believed to have been taken in between her other entertainment commitments, and while she works on a new album.
“I write music about my own experience and other people’s so being on the road meeting all these people is really inspiring,” Donovan said of her experience so far with the ride-sharing company.
Donovan rose to fame after winning Australian Idol in 2004 when she was only a 16-year-old, beating out fellow contestant Anthony Callea.
