Bachelor in Paradise premiered this week and with it, came A LOT of drama. From steamy hookups to huge blow-ups, let’s get tipsy on the biggest shockers from the first week.
1. Cat Henesey being outrageously basic
When Cat was announced as a cast member on this season of BIP, we all knew we were in for one hell of a ride. And despite only appearing in one episode, last year’s Bachelor villain didn’t disappoint. On Wednesday night, she chucked a HUGE wobbly and stormed out of the ceremony after Richie Strahan and Nathan Favro— the two men she 100 percent thought were going to pick her— gave their rose to someone else. Shame… I wonder why?
“F**k this,” she said under her breath before running off. “I didn’t think that I would go on the first night,” she sobbed.

Following her dramatic meltdown, Cat declined to return to the rose ceremony and instead announced that she was quitting the show.

2. Richie and Alex and THAT fight
They’ve spent years dodging the one question we’ve all asked ourselves at one point in time: Why did Richie Strahan and Alex Nation break up? Well, ladies and gents, we finally have an answer.
On Wednesday night, the ex-lovers met for the first time since their split… and boy, did they reveal some dirty details!

3. Rachael literally stacking it over a rose
We’re only three episodes in but one thing’s for sure: Rachael Gouvignon has had a pretty tough run thus far. Firstly, her ex-boyfriend Richie didn’t even recognise her, and then after Richie gave his rose to someone else, she literally passed out.
Well, at least that’s what the show led us to believe happened. When the episode aired, Rach slammed Network Ten for editing her embarrassing fall.
“Just to clarify, I fell off the stairs! Not a reaction to Richie’s pick,” she said. “I loved the edited version of it. Said no one ever!”
4. That hour-long hook up
One word… CRINGE.
