Former Bachelor In Paradise star Simone Ormesher has welcomed a beautiful baby girl with her partner Matt Thorne. The fan favourite reality TV star announced the exciting news on Instagram, sharing three adorable photos of their new bundle of joy which they named Gracie-Mae.
“Welcome to the world Gracie-Mae Kathleen Thorne (Kathleen named after my Nanna),” she captioned a photo of herself holding their newborn. “More beautiful than we could have ever imagined ♥️ After a few complications with baby’s breathing she was admitted to NICU where she is being looked after but is doing so well and will hopefully be home with us in a couple of days, We could not have asked for a more stronger, amazing baby girl we are so in love.”
Simone’s boyfriend also took to Instagram to express his excitement, sharing the same photo with the caption: “Welcome Gracie Mae. Words can not describe the emotions and feelings I have for these two girls. After a big scare last night after birth where Gracie Mae is recovering well now to finally hold our baby girl is the most surreal and special feeling you will ever get. So Proud of you both and love you with everything I have.”
A day before Gracie-Mae was born, Simone shared her final pregnancy update with a selfie from her hospital bed.
“She’s on her way,” the fan favourite reality TV star wrote.
The personal trainer, who rose to fame after starring in Matty J’s season of The Bachelor, announced she was expecting her first child with Matt in March. She shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of a baby onesie alongside a board which read “There is a mini us due in October”.
Simone most recently appeared on our screens in 2018, causing quite the stir on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise. As we know, she left the Fijian island dating former Bachelorette star, Apolo Jackson. However, after the show wrapped, the couple went their separate ways.
