Beau Ryan hasn’t let Sydney’s COVID-19 lockdown stop him from celebrating his son Jesse’s fourth birthday.

The former footballer-turned-tv presenter posted a sweet tribute to his youngest child to his 379,000 Instagram followers.
Beau shared a photo of the celebrations at home with his wife, Kara, 34, their daughter Remi, eight, and son Jesse.
“Happy Birthday to my Best Mate. The King. I’m so proud to be your Dad. Thanks for making each day better and better. I love you. Keep being you Jesse (Except for the last vid. Stop doing that. Asap) 👑,” he captioned the post.
The 36-year-old also posted a series of adorable photos of his son with a life-sized Spiderman balloon in their Sydney home.
In an interview with Now To Love last year, Beau admitted his two kids are “completely different to each other”.
“My boy is like me – he’s a bit crazy, but my daughter is quite chilled and calm. It tends to be my daughter and I versus the world,” he said.
Beau has numerous TV gigs – he hosted Sunday Night Takeaway with Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris, along with The Amazing Race, and he has been busy filling in as a radio host on KIIS.
But fitting it all in has been made possible with the help of his wife, Kara, who he married in 2012.
“My wife is a rock. If I’m out early or out late I come home the kids are already down and she keeps everything in order at home and that makes it so much easier for me,” he said.
And that also hasn’t stopped Beau from enjoying the simple activities with his young family – including a quick game on the PlayStation.
“I get addicted to everything, whether it’s coffee or gaming, so I love playing the PlayStation… and my daughter is really addicted to it too,” he said.
