The winners of Beauty And The Geek 2022 have been crowned and it’s none other than fan favourites Aaron Seeto and Karly Fisher!

The wholesome duo took out the top spot after going up against Tegan and Anthony and Chris and Bri, who couldn’t have been happier for them.
All three of the final couples burst into tears when host Sophie Monk announced Aaron and Karly were the winners, with the returning beauties and geeks cheering them on.

“We did it! We did it together, I can’t believe it,” Karly said. “I feel like my heart’s basically just cracked wide open. I can’t explain this feeling at all.”
Aaron added: “I don’t usually get emotional but at times like this it’s needed.”
Aaron and Karly were voted the winners by the beauties and geeks who had already been eliminated, making their win all the more special.
“Thank you guys so much for believing in us,” Karly told the rest of the cast, while newly confident Aaron was so touched he decided to share his biggest insecurity.

Turning around, he popped out his false teeth and showed off his grin to the other contestants as they cheered him on – missing teeth and all!
“Originally I was afraid to show it, but this experience has given me so much more confidence. I’m planning to use that money to go towards fixing everything and making myself feel better,” he said of how he will spend the $100,000 prize.
Aaron and Karly were the first couple to tackle the final challenge, which saw them drop off a building and into a pool below.
Though Karly was terrified, her geek was right there to talk her through it and cheer her on when she finally dropped over the side of the building.

“Once we made the splash, the first thing that I wanted to do was just to run straight to Karly and give her the biggest hug I could,” he later wrote of the moment they hit the water.
“She was screaming her lungs out as we were descending and the first thing I wanted to do was let her know it was ok… I know that I have found a lifelong friend and you’ve changed me for the better.”
Sophie paired Aaron and Karly at the very first mixer, recognising just how much Karly’s bubbly and outgoing personality could help Aaron come out of his shell.
The duo quickly bonded and by the time Aaron’s makeover came around Karly was already helping him on his journey to be a new, confident version of himself.

“Aaron is so truly one of a kind, his heart and soul goes far beyond his physical appearance, but this makeover was the cherry on top,” she penned on Instagram after his new look was revealed on the show.
“You go you sexy Aaron-cini ball, time to start livin!”
Meanwhile Aaron has been singing his beauty’s praises online too, writing in a recent Instagram post: “Thank you @karllyfisher for everything you’ve done for me throughout all of this.
“You’ve taught me so much and helped me immensely and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for.”
Though they didn’t form a romantic bond, Aaron and Karly’s frienship really resonated with viewers, who predicted they’d win from as early as episode three.
