Her chosen winner Pete Mann is officially back with his ex-girlfriend, but Bachelorette Becky Miles has had to deal with her own issues – namely internet trolls.
Since her highly publicised split, Becky, 30, has been living her best life in her hometown of Newcastle along with younger sister, Elly.
But on Tuesday, the 2020 Bachelorette revealed that she’d had enough when she shared a screenshot of a direct message she’d received on her Instagram Stories.
The message, from someone named Kylie, read: “No wonder your single u are so painful.”
Instead of letting it slide, though, Becky hit back and replied: “Stop following me then. Simple,” followed by the middle finger emoji.
The blonde beauty wrote her own caption over the screenshot exchange: “Yeah cool. Thanks Kylie.”
This isn’t the first instance that Becky has shared the trolling she’s endured since she starred on reality TV.
In a promotional post for collagen beauty products earlier this month, the 30-year-old confessed: “I was told that I looked 40 on #thebacheloretteau 😅 (thanksss) – not that there’s anything wrong with being 40, but no one wants to hear that they look older than they are. I think they’re all silly!”
However, Becky had plenty of fans who shared their thoughts in the comments.
“There is absolutely no way you look 40! Those people were very clearly jealous,” one wrote.
“Omg you don’t look 40!!!! People have such unrealistic expectations of skin, body shape and beauty in general these days! You are gorgeous,” penned another.
This week Becky’s ex Pete, who broke things off with her via FaceTime after three days, confirmed that he was back with his ex-girlfriend, Rachel Evans.
“Rach and I are together now for the first time. We had been seeing each other only casually before the show,” he told the Daily Mail.
“After filming concluded, we reconnected and I simply fell head over heels.
“We’ve now met each other’s families and will be spending Christmas together, including a secret little getaway.”
Immediately after the finale, Becky exclusively admitted that she had been “blindsided” by Pete calling time on their romance.
“We spent about three days together and we had a lovely time. I think that’s why I was quite blindsided when he broke it off because, you know, in those moments he was saying all the right things,” Becky told Now To Love.
“Once we were back home I gave him a little bit of space and then we had a FaceTime call and he just expressed to me that he’d realised that he didn’t really think there was a spark there.”
“I was absolutely devastated.”
