Gwen Stefani has been dating Blake Shelton for less than a year, but the singer has just hinted at potentially taking their relationship to the next level.
The 46-year-old singer visited On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Sept. 9 and the radio host openly asked her if she’d consider marrying Shelton. A flustered Stefani responded, “Everything is going so quickly. … I’m in the moment and, um, look at me, you’ve got me tongue-tied.”
According to Us Weekly a Stefani insider reveals the singer, 46, and Shelton, 40, “haven’t even told their families the date.” And a source close to Shelton also confessed, “They want to get married before the end of the year.”
“They are both very, very happy,” continued Shelton insider. “Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her.”
While Stefani divorced ex Gavin Rossdale (whom she shares sons Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2) after 13 years of marriage, this year has proven to be filled with happiness for Stefani. “I look at this year and I think, I just feel so awake,” she added to Seacrest September 9. “I feel so alive and so grateful… this year has been so full of so much joy.”
Both musicians’ ended long-term relationships last year, with Shelton and Miranda Lambert, 32, divorcing in July and Stefani and Rossdale, 48, announcing their split several weeks later.
