The man who will take on the coveted role of Freddie Mercury in the upcoming film Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami Malik has spoken about his excitement towards portraying such a legendary rock star.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the star said as soon as he was offered the role, “There was no hesitation at all.”
“[I] was just all in. After all that the weight of it all hit.
“I felt the only way to not have the pitfall of such a high pressure-filled situation was to dive in wholeheartedly into all things Freddie, go to London, take some piano lessons, some singing lessons, do some movement coaching and give it all I had.”
In regards to wardrobe, the actor revealed his favourite Freddie Mercury outfit had to be the iconic White denim and white singlet combo. “I do like the white jean, denim 80s look as well… it’s sexy!”
