Not even the torrential rain could prevent Brad Pitt from fulfilling his job on Saturday. The 52-year-old actor had the honour of starting the 84th Le Mans 24 Hours in France.

To mark the occasion, Pitt donned a white racing uniform and dark sunglasses before taking a lap around the 110-year-old circuit and waving the French start flag.
As the name suggests, the Le Mans race takes 24 hours to complete. The endurance race has been held every year since 1923 just outside Le Mans in France.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who wedded in France in 2014, have always spent a lot of time in the region and even own a home there.

The World War Z star also took the time to sign autographs and wave to fans before driving around the track in a special race car.

Pitt was joined trackside by Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves and fellow silver fox Patrick Dempsey. Dempsey, who is particularly into his motorsports, even has his own racing team Dempsey Proton Racing. Patrick shared the following picture of the stars to his Instagram.
Dempsey managed to place second in his class at last years race, but he did not compete this year. Instead he was invited back as the event’s 2016 Ambassador.
