BREAKING: Alan Thicke dies at 69

ABC News has confirmed that Alan Thicke, known by fans as Dr. Jason Seaver on Growing Pains, has died.

Thicke, who starred in Growing Pains from 1985-1992 as Dr. Jason Seaver, passed away from a heart attack while playing hockey with his son Carter, according to TMZ. The 69 year-old was taken to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where he passed.

The long-time actor is survived by his wife, Tanya, and his three sons: Robin, Carter and Brennan.
