Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has been hospitalised following complications with a spider bite.
Jackie O announced the news live on-air this morning after the 45-year-old failed to turn up to co-host the pair’s KIIS FM breakfast radio show.
Jackie told listeners how she prompted Kyle to see a doctor after he was bitten on the leg earlier this week.
But after the star neglected to seek help, the wound quickly became infected.
Throughout the duration of the show, Jackie joked that she would look to source a prosthetic limb for her co-host in case he needed his leg amputated.
It is not yet known how serious Kyle’s injury is, but it’s been reported that he remains in a stable condition.
