With the current season of The Bachelor currently airing, Instagram is rife with throwback posts from old contestants, reflecting on how different they are now.
Brittany Hockley joined the trend today, posting an image of herself taken on her season of the show, where she sported long, dark curly hair, a red lip and a white gown.
“Three years today – LOL I can never not laugh at how different I look!” she captioned it.
In the years since, Brittany has traded her striking dark hair for lighter looks, and now sports mid-length honey-coloured locks.
She went on to post a picture of herself from her time on Bachelor in Paradise, where her hair was equally dark.
“I actually sorta low key miss the black…,” she wrote, adding a poll for people to vote on whether she should go back to dark or keep her hair light.
Brittany went through a lot of changes to her hair earlier this year while undergoing egg-freezing, revealed in a reel she made where she said she was ‘blaming the hormones’ for the constant need to change her hair.
The reel showed her with curled and straightened extensions, a more cropped short look, and with varying amounts of blonde streaks in her hair, which then crawled back to balayage.
While Brittany did not find love on her season of The Bachelor, or Bachelor in Paradise, she has since taken up with tennis player Jordan Thompson, and is travelling the world with him while he competes.
The pair are currently in The Bahamas, with Brittany sharing many snaps of herself in bright blue water at stunning beaches.
She divulged on her podcast, Life Uncut, that Jordan preferred her as a blonde, having never known her with long, black hair.
Despite being single for 10 years prior, Brittany and Jordan seem to be one loved-up couple since going public in February this year.
She has joked about their wedding plans, and shared insight into the relationship both on her podcast and on Instagram.
“It makes all the heartbreak and everything I have been through worth it,” she told WHO.
