As 38-year-old Jules’ pregnancy journey nears an end, the reality TV stunner commemorated the arrival with a glamorous photo shoot, showing off her gorgeous bump.
And now, speaking to Who, husband Cam, 36, is weighing in with his thoughts on her stunning body transformation.
“To be honest, I look at it and all I can think is how much of a miracle this is. I honestly do,” he gushes, adding that seeing the journey up close every step of the way has given him a deeper understanding of pregnancy.
“It’s been a whole nine months of watching her body transfer and develop, I’ve just so much appreciation for just kids in general and your friends’ kids and then to look at it and think, ‘This is a miracle, how is this happening?’ So I get little bit deep in that.”
The SodaStream brand spokesperson was full of praise for his heavily pregnant wife, who he met while filming Married At First Sight in 2019, before the couple got married in real life in November that same year.
Cam gives Jules credit for being strong, candid and real throughout her pregnancy.
“The way she’s handled it and the way she’s embraced it, the way she’s been very real and raw with her journey has been pretty exceptional and for me, she’s been strong in how she’s handled it,” Cam says.
“When I saw the photos I said, A) where do you get the time to do this? and B) you look absolutely stunning. I know that was something that was pretty important to her so she could look back on it.”
Although the couple have yet to find out the gender of their firstborn, Cam says he and Jules have been hard at work narrowing down a list of names – but they’re keeping them under wraps for now.
“Funnily enough, I had my girl’s name sorted out maybe six, seven years ago and I brought that up the first time we discussed kids. She loved it, so that’s been locked in,” Cam says.
“Boy’s name, we’re almost there,” Cam laughs. “I think a couple of friends said that their baby has come early and they’ve literally had no name for it for literally a couple of weeks so hopefully that doesn’t happen.”
As well as going through the task of picking out names, Cam has been busy supporting Jules on her pregnancy journey, renovating their home and juggling a new partnership with SodaStream.
Admitting he loves the nostalgia factor of the brand, he says, “It’s fun, so delicious and so important for well-being alongside my passion in helping the environment by cutting back on using single use plastic to make a difference.”
