Cardi B just announced on Instagram Live that she will release her new album sometime this year, and fans are freaking out!
“Of course it’s gonna be an album in 2019,” the ‘Be Careful’ rapper said.
The star also said she hoped to release her second record around the same time she dropped her platinum-selling album, Invasion Of Privacy last year. However, with three festival performances already scheduled between now and April, she said it is unlikely.
“Hopefully, I could get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out, but I don’t know how possible that’s gonna be because I feel like I’m going to be extremely, extremely busy.”
Since announcing her split in December from fiance and Migos rapper Offset— whom she shares a child with—fans have wondered whether she will touch on their messy breakup in her upcoming music.
