Since she first graced our screens on Rove Live, we’ve witnessed our fair share of hair transformations from the TV host – some more extreme than others. Remember her Jane Fonda-eque blow out circa 2009? Better yet, what about that time she ditched the blonde and went brunette? (What. A. Vibe.)
Taking to TikTok on Wednesday, the 39-year-old treated fans to a sneak peek of her latest ‘do. A choppy, chin-length platinum lob.
“Goodbye Lockdown. Goodbye Locks,” she captioned it.
Fans immediately flooded the comments section with compliments.
“Yes Carrie!! Looks amazing!” one wrote.
“OMG LOVE!!!!💕💕💕💕” added another.
Her former fellow Project panellist Lisa Wilkinson penned: “Fabulous!!!”
And beauty guru Zoe Foster Blake summed up our thoughts entirely: “Now THIS, THIS is a haircut. 15/10,” she said.
The change comes just months after the Channel 10 favourite debuted an equally as dramatic (but half as permanent) look via her radio co-host Tommy Little’s Instagram account – a long red wig a la Ginger Spice.
“When people get into commercial radio they start doing stupid stunts with lame arse costumes… not us though, we’re way above that sh*t,” Tommy captioned the hilarious snap.
Clearly, something is in the water in 2020, you guys: Miley got a mullet, Selena has side bangs and Carrie’s succumbed to the scissors once more.
Suffice to say, we dig it Carrie!
