The Logie Awards was a big night for Casey Donovan.
The singer touched the audience and received a standing ovation after her rendition of David Bowie’s hit ‘Heroes’ sung during the In Memoriam segment.
“That was spectacular. I did not think there would be a standing ovation after the memoria, because of what that means, but it was magical,” Donovan, 28, said. “Waking up and shaking all day for three and a half minutes – was worth it.
The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner also had major news to share.
“New music is coming out,” Donovan revealed. “I am dropping a single on my birthday (May 13), fingers crossed all independently – but I am working tirelessly to get that out.”
