The power couple we need but may never have, Brooke Blurton and Abbie Chatfield, opened up on Abbie’s podcast It’s A Lot about what has kept them apart.

Abbie and Brooke both appeared on different seasons of The Bachelor, and they have finally united on Abbie’s podcast to discuss Brooke’s experience on the show and her dating life.
And by far the cutest part of their lengthy chat was the moment Brooke called Abbie out for rejecting her not once but twice.
However, there is a pretty solid reason why Abbie rejected the offer of a date.
“I’ve asked Abbie on a date twice, and she’s not politely declined nor accepted,” revealed Brooke.
The girls were in good spirits as they laughed about Brooke’s cute revelation that, honestly, is a tease for listeners who would love to see these two together.
But Abbie clarified the reason why, probably because who would want to be slammed for not accepting a date from Brooke.
“I said yes babe; when you asked me on a date, I said yes,” she said.
“But at the time, there was something called Coronavirus happening, and you couldn’t go to Western Australia.”
Then she joked: “You live in Perth… WA has been closed for 14 million years since the dinosaurs roamed the earth.”
In a discussion about what Brooke’s type is when it comes to a partner, Brooke clarified that she looks for genuine and mature people.
Brooke said she wants to date someone with “emotional intelligence and someone with a bit of culture.”
As for her type in women, Brooke admitted that she likes a certain type of look.
“I have a type of girl, like athletic,” said Brooke.
Well, this revelation made Abbie burst out laughing, and she couldn’t help but quiz Brooke for asking her out.
“Then, babe, why do you want to take me on a date then?” asked Abbie.
The conversation then took an even more hilarious route when Brooke explained that while Abbie may not be the most athletic woman, the process of dating her may make up for it.
“I feel like just dating you might be a bit of a sport, Abs,” Brooke teased.
“I am up for the challenge, I am quite competitive, and you would keep me on my toes.”
As for Brooke’s dating life at the moment, she said she is taking things slow because she isn’t ready to get into something serious.
“I don’t want to commit to something serious for a while, so I have been going on loose dates,” she explained.
Fans of the girls may be pining for them to go out (because why not), but Brooke has also been linked to singer G Flip.
The singer and influencer have been flirting over Instagram, and fans have been curiously following their hints and online banter closely since the to and fro started on Valentine’s Day.
