It’s official! Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are engaged

Casually dropping the news to British Vogue, Dua has shared that, “Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting.”

The ring, custom-made of course, and Dua is “Obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

There is no rush for the pair to get married as the singer has shared the plans are in no rush to happen as she is on tour, he is busy filming and they’re “just enjoying this period.”

“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling,” our hearts are MELTING.

The 29-year-old has also shared that planning out a wedding was never something she had thought about.

“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”

After months and months of fans *begging* for Dua and Callum to walk a red carpet together, the couple made their first official joint appearance at the biggest night in fashion.

Posing alongside one another on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Dua and Callum wore coordinating black Chanel ensembles, and in good news for fans still on engagement watch, Dua’s ring was still taking pride of place on *that* finger.

In addition to hundreds of adorable photos from the red carpet, Dua later shared some super cute snaps alongside her fiancé at a New York pizza shop in full glam (and honestly, could they get any more iconic?!)

Despite neither Dua nor Callum weighing in on the engagement rumours, Dua offered fans a close-up glimpse of her rumoured engagement ring during her January Instagram round-up.

Naturally, the comments were filled with fans losing their minds over whether or not Dua and Callum were engaged, and while fans were still uncertain as to whether there was any truth to the rumours, they were also quick to spot the ring in each of her subsequent posts.

As one of the internet’s favourite couples, it’s no secret that fans are hoping Dua and Callum stay together, and after making headlines for their super romantic date night under the Eiffel Tower, reports began to emerge that the couple could *actually* be engaged.

“Dua and Callum are so in love and know this is forever,” a source told The Sun, adding, “They are engaged and couldn’t be happier…Their family and friends are so happy. It’s been an amazing Christmas for them.”

The reports come just days after eagle-eyed fans spotted a ring on *that* finger in an Instagram photo dump posted by Dua.

After taking Europe by storm earlier in the year, Dua and Callum jetted to Japan in November, and in classic cool girl fashion, the singer posted a perfectly candid photo dump of her adventures while on tour in Japan.

Aside from the obligatory karaoke shots, Dua also shared some solo pics of Callum shopping in a convenience store before later sharing a kiss at Tokyo’s Shibuya crossing.

After not being spotted together since July, fans were beginning to wonder whether Callum and Dua had gone their separate ways, but fortunately for us, our fave celeb couple shared yet another loved-up photo together following Dua’s performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

“Post-show fun and so much love!!!!” Dua captioned the photo dump, sharing a snap of Callum kissing her on the cheek.

Celebrating the Los Angeles premiere of the actor’s series, Masters of the Air, Dua and Callum were unexpectedly spotted together for the first time. 

Although the footage shared by TMZ may have been super low quality, it clearly showed an easily identifiable Dua kissing and wrapping her arms around a mystery man.

Shortly after the clip went viral, fans were quick to link the man in the clip with Callum, kickstarting rumours about their romance.

Five days after they were first spotted together, Dua and Callum seemingly confirmed their new romance on the infamous Sushi Park balcony in Los Angeles.

Following their dinner date, paparazzi captured multiple snaps of the pair kissing and being affectionate with one another as they left their date night.

Just when fans thought they couldn’t get enough of our new favourite couple, Dua and Callum were spotted together again just over two weeks later in Beverly Hills, confirming their romance was definitely the real deal.
