Sources speaking to People confirmed that the couple welcomed the arrival of their son in Los Angeles in early November 2023.

News of the birth comes shortly after Kourtney’s youngest sister Kylie Jenner was photographed alongside Travis visiting Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, with many speculating that Kourtney had entered the Los Angeles hospital on November 3.

Kourtney and Travis have not yet taken to social media to announce their son’s arrival however, documents obtained by The Blast have shared a glimpse at the newborn’s birth certificate, revealing that Kourtney and Travis have legally named their son  Rocky Thirteen Barker.

The documents also revealed that the couple welcomed their son earlier than initially reported, with Rocky’s birthday being listed as November 1, 2023.

Travis previously hinted at his son’s name during his appearance on Complex’s GOAT Talk alongside his daughter Alabama, sharing, “Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies, and 13 is just the greatest number of all time.”

The Blink-182 star also shared that he drew inspiration from the Rocky film franchise, describing the series as “the greatest boxing movie of all time.”

Alabama also shared her thoughts on the name, telling Travis, “It’s a cool name. We all have very authentic, weird names. I just think having another family member is always awesome and getting to know a new person, it’s going to be so fun and so exciting.”

News of their son’s arrival comes just over one month since Kourtney revealed that she underwent urgent fetal surgery ahead of the birth.

The mum of three took to Instagram to update fans after she was rushed to hospital following pregnancy complications.

In the lengthy Instagram caption, Kourtney thanked her doctors and her husband, Travis, who abruptly left his Blink-182 tour last week to be by her side.

“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” she wrote. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”

“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍”

The couple kept fans up to date on their fertility struggles as they experimented with natural treatments and IVF throughout their relationship.

The couple first started seeking fertility treatments in 2021, documenting their egg retrieval process on earlier seasons of The Kardashians. “The fertility journey, Travis and I stay in the moment with it and just do the steps we need to do,” Kourtney shared. “It’s nice to hear good news and have some positivity, so we love that but we just wait to hear the final thoughts from Dr. Wood once he receives my blood work and really gets to look at the follicles.”

However, the couple announced in the following episode that the process was unsuccessful. “He was able to retrieve the egg but it didn’t make it to the embryo stage,” Kourtney explained.

In December 2022, Kourtney updated fans on her fertility treatments, revealing that she had taken a break from the physically-demanding IVF process.  Taking to Instagram, she shared that she was feeling like herself after stopping IVF treatments for 10 months.

In November, Travis told GQ in that the couple had made a decision to talk about IVF to normalize the process, especially for men who might be unaware of their part.

“If any of that can help people — seeing Kourtney’s journey through IVF, which is super hard for a woman. You saw her struggle with it and talk about it. That’s real,” he told the publication. “I don’t care if I’m c**ming in a cup or whatever. It’s real life… And there’s however many millions of dudes that have to go give their semen for this same procedure. So it’s, like, relatable, you know? I’ve never been fazed by any of that.”
