Former Married At First Sight stars Martha Kalifatidis and boyfriend Michael Brunelli are one of the few romance success stories to come out of the reality dating show.
But now Martha has revealed the pair actually secretly split a while ago without anyone noticing, before getting back together shortly afterwards.

The reality star turned influencer revealed the shocking update on the Kylie and Jackie O show on KIIS FM on Thursday morning, telling hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson the breakup only lasted for “a few hours”, before the couple were back on again.
“Have you and Michael ever broken up?” Kyle asked Martha, who replied, “Oh, for like a few hours.”
Martha, 31, went on to explain that she and Michael, 28, didn’t actually spend any time apart during their very brief split, because they were living together at the time.
“And did you sleep with anyone or do anything during that few hours, while you were on the break?” Kyle said.
Martha responded: “No, we were in the same house!”
“So no time apart from each other?” Kyle clarified, to which Martha said, “No.”
Back in April, the couple sparked split rumours after Martha posted a mysterious text message exchange between herself and Michael to Instagram.
“I’m so fkn done!!!! I’m upgrading. Bye bihhh” Martha wrote to Michael.
He replied: “Are you serious? You’re a bit dramatic… I know you always want the best of everything but this is just one of things that takes trial and error. I’ve tried over and over again to communicate but you know it never eventuates to anything. How many times can one person pick up the phone to figure out a problem and not get a response?”
But it turns out the whole thing was a social media prank disguised as an ad campaign for a telecommunications company.
Martha later revealed the couple had simply “broken up” with their telco, not each other.
“The truth behind our breakup… We haven’t broken up with each other but we have broken up with our telco and simply moved onto a better one,” she later clarified.
“Michael and I … have not broken up. We are actually really happy together.”
Martha and Michael, who are both from Melbourne, last year moved full time to Sydney and now live together in Sydney’s Bondi.
Michael has quit his teaching job and is now running an online fitness business, Tru Fit By Michael, and Martha has built an impressive career for herself as a beauty and lifestyle influencer, amassing 346,000 Instagram followers.
