Since they moved to the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have strived to have more control over the privacy of their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
But after the Duchess of Sussex got back on Instagram, she has been more than happy to share glimpses of her children and their day-to-day lives at home in Montecito.
Here, WHO looks at the Archie and Lilibet’s cutest moments and reveals the details their parents have shared about them.
How many children do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have two children.
The couple welcome a son named Archie Harrison, born on May 6, 2019.

A daughter named Lilibet “Lili” Diana followed on June 4, 2021, after they had moved to the US.
In the first season of her Netflix lifestyle, WIth Love, Meghan, in early 2025, the duchess revealed that the family were choosing to use their title, Sussex, as their last name instead of Mountbatten-Windsor.
Prince Archie of Sussex
In April 2025, his proud mum revealed that Archie, 5, was about to hit an important milestone.
Meghan shared that the prince was is “just about” to lose his first tooth while speaking on stage at the Time100 Summit in New York City on April 23.
“What we’re going to put out during our next launch is equally as important to me as Archie getting his first [big] tooth this week,” she said. “It’s about to happen, I might get back just in time for it!”


Upon her return home, the duchess shared a new snap of the youngster enjoy some time outdoors on a Sunday as she tended to her rose bushes.
“Sunday kind of love….with my little loves,” Meghan captioned the post.

Since the Sussex’s moved to the UA, Archie no longer undertakes official royal duties, however he accompanied his parents on an official tour to Africa while just a baby.

When Meghan does share photos of her son now, it is usually from the back of his head.
However, in 2021, a few more glimpses of Archie were shared, including some intimate home footage during Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey and on their Neflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, including his 1st birthday party.
Despite no longer living in the UK, Archie continues to remain in 6th place in the british line of succession.
Princess Lilibet of Sussex
In new images of Princess Lilibet shared to Instagram on April 28, fans were delighted to see her shock of red hair.
“How sweet! Just like her dad,” commented one social media user.
Lilibet was born in the USA after her parents big move and has never lived in the UK.

She made one trip for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2023, which coincided with her 1st birthday.
To celebrate, her parents threw her a party in the gardens of Windsor Castle and shared an image of her looking very sweet in a blue dress.

According to Prince Harry, Lilibet was a very calm and relaxed baby.
“She’s very chilled and seems happy to just sit there while Archie is running around like crazy,” he said.
In June 2021, the couple’s spokesperson also shared that Archie was delighted to have a little sister, telling PEOPLE that he “is very happy to have a little sister.”
Lili remains in the 7th spot in the British line of succession.
