When Nadia and Jimmy Bartel announced they were calling time on their relationship in August, it wasn’t long before he moved on with Lauren Mand, but in a major twist, it seems there may already have been ties between Nadia and Lauren.

According to The Daily Mail, Nadia’s sister Michelle Coppolino appears to be following Lauren’s sister Tegan Mand on Instagram.
While it’s unclear when Michelle began following Tegan or if the two women are friends, it calls into question the possibility that Nadia may have crossed paths with Lauren before the Melbourne socialite began dating her husband.
It’s possible that perhaps Michelle started following Tegan after she found out her sister’s soon-to-be-ex-husband was in a relationship with Lauren, or she may already have been friends, meaning the ties were there before the couple’s high-profile split was announced.
Jimmy addressed his marriage breakdown on 3AW in August.
“It’s not great, but I am probably not going to provide any commentary on it,” Bartel said.
“I know I am in the public eye and people are interested, but it is a private matter and I ask for a bit of respect because obviously Nadia and the boys [are] involved.
Nadia has also spoken out since the split, as the 34-year-old spoke in an emotional piece-to-camera also on The All New Monty: Ladies’ Night.
“It’s been a tough time personally for me recently. It’s just so painful,” the Instagram star said as footage and photos of the young family aired.
Meanwhile, Jimmy’s new girlfriend Lauren has gushed about her boyfriend on her Instagram account, declaring her love for the footy player, and sharing loved-up snaps.
Just weeks after uploading a photo of the retired AFL star from their romantic weekend getaway, she dedicated another social media post to her beau, this time sharing a snap of the loved up couple celebrating his 36th birthday last week.
While the never-before-seen shot is sweet and expected, it’s the over the top caption that’s caught our attention.
“Happy Birthday JB, I love you,” she wrote, marking the first time she’s publicly declared her love for the dad-of-two.
