Prince William shares disgust at wildlife trade

A topic the royal is very passionate about.

Prince William has returned to work after summer holidays but there were no smiles for the royals at his first official event back on the job.

The Duke of Cambridge met with employees from The Royal Mail’s Worldwide International Logistics Centre at Heathrow Airport where they discussed their efforts to help stop illegal wildlife trade.

The 36-year-old couldn’t hide his disgust as he was told about and inspected seized items including butterflies, crocodile leather items and ivory necklaces.

The royal father-of-three is so passionate about stopping the illegal trade that he championed the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce in 2016, with the aim of ending wildlife crime.
