Her blue slip-on flats were adorned with numerous white stars – perhaps a patriotic nod to her visit to the US.
The princess clutched her passport in one hand while she held her mobile phone to her ear as she made her way past the Delta airline check in queue.
Onlookers said the royal was flanked by minimal security.

Princess Beatrice wore her long auburn hair loose around her shoulders and paired her blue shoes with a simple pleated skirt and black jacket.
The sighting of Princess Beatrice came as speculation reached fever pitch that she may ‘marry within months’ after reportedly falling for a multi-millionaire property developer.
Princess Beatrice is believed to be dating Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 34, after meeting through a mutual friend.
