They’re one of The Bachelor’s longest-lasting success stories and if you ask Sam and Snezana Wood what they’re proudest of they’d probably have the same answer: their children.
Snez was already a single mum when she met Sam on the reality TV show, even going so far as to introduce him to her daughter Eve in one of the season’s later episodes.
And when Sam chose Snez as his winner, he was more than happy to welcome Eve into his life too, the mother-daughter duo relocating from Perth to Melbourne to live with him.
“It was this crazy world which they [Snez and Eve] uprooted everything and came to Melbourne to live with me, but now we’re this family,” he told Now To Love at the time.
He bonded with Eve quickly, becoming a central father figure long before he was officially her stepdad, after marrying Snez in 2018.

But that’s not how he describes himself, the proud father explaining: “I never call myself Eve’s ‘step-dad’. I am Eve’s dad. That’s how I feel. That’s how I act.”
Parenting Eve gave Sam plenty of experience with a teenager, but he had to start from scratch with the newborn years when he and Snez welcomed their first child together in 2017, daughter Willow.
Another girl followed in 2019 named Charlie, and by 2022 the family had grown to six members with the arrival of baby Harper, who was born four weeks early.
“I’ve just got this house full of girls, nothing is gonna change. It’s just me and the dog representing the boys. But you know what? It’s such a nice place to come home,” Sam told Now To Love in 2019.

Sam welcomed Eve into his life as soon as he chose Snez as his winner on The Bachelor.
The trio were a happy family of three while Sam and Snez made their relationship flourish in the real world.
In 2017 the couple announced some exciting news: they were expecting their first child together!
Baby Willow Wendy Wood was born in October that year, much to her older sister Eve’s delight.
The cute family of four made the most of those exciting newborn months.
By 2019 Sam and Snez were ready to become parents again, announcing their second child was on the way.
Daughter Charlie Lane Wood arrived in July that year and Eve started tackling twice as many sister duties.
Now a family of five, there was always plenty going on for the Wood family.
And Sam has always made sure to treat Eve just like his very own – after all, he considers himself her dad.
Sam and Snez surprised fans in 2021 by announcing they were expecting yet again, and another girl at that!
Harper Jones Wood was born four weeks early in May 2022 and had to spend weeks in hospital in special care.
Now the darling little bub is looking healthier than ever and her parents couldn’t wait to take her home to meet her sisters.
The four girls finally came together at the end of May, with photos from inside the Wood home showing how quickly Eve, Charlie and Willow bonded with their new baby sister.
The family of six settled into a new routine with Harper in the weeks that followed, though she didn’t look too sure about being bathed next to the fireplace.
The couple teased fans in June 2022 with talk of another pregnancy, but it was all hypothetical. Snezana revealed she and Sam had been forced to postpone their honeymoon again after welcoming Harper, joking: “Every time we say, ‘let’s finally go on our honeymoon!’, I find out we are pregnant again.”
Sam cheekily replied in the comments, “Are we pregnant again???” – but they’re not… yet!

In July 2023, the cute family celebrated Charlie’s fourth birthday which included a pink sequin dress and a unicorn theme.
October 2023 also saw the family celebrate Willow’s sixth birthday. “Can’t believe my gorgeous baby girl Willow turned 6!” Snez wrote on Instagram to celebrate the special day.
“She couldn’t wait to get into her new Hermione costume Baba & Dedo got her (even though that wasn’t what we planned to wear for her birthday lunch 🤨🤣🤷🏽♀️). As all parents know trying to capture that perfect shot of the kids….. forget it!!! Love you so much my little clever clogs.”
Merry Christmas! Sam and Snez shared their 2023 Christmas family photo and we are *very* impressed they got one of the whole family looking good! Can you imagine how hard it would be to organise the group of six to get the shot?!
2024 marked a big milestone for Eve, with the high-school graduate making the move to New York City for college.
After celebrating her pre-departure with her family, the 19-year-old was joined by Snez for her arrival to NYC, with the mum of four checking out her “biggest baby’s new neighbourhood.”
