“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she commented on Instagram in the early days of their relationship. While some replied to the star with criticisms of her new boyfriend, Selena quickly clapped back, commenting, “lol yeah and he’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with.”
“If you actually care about me. This is my happiest. If you don’t, feel free to say whatever you want, but I will never allow your words to guide my life. Ever. I’m done. If you can’t accept me at my happiest, then don’t be in my life at all,” she continued.
The singer went on to ‘hard-launch’ her romance on social media following Taylor Swift’s New York birthday party, sharing a snap to Instagram of the couple kissing.

Prior to the star confirming her new romance with Benny Blanco, rumours surrounding Selena’s potential relationship with One Direction star Zayn Malik gained traction after The Sun reported the two were spotted on a dinner date together, with a witness sharing with the publication that they were “holding hands and kissing.”
“Selena and Zayn walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurantgoers didn’t notice them,” the source revealed. “It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”
The news came just weeks after fans spotted Zayn following Selena on Instagram, which was quite a big deal considering he only followed 18 people at the time.
Selena seemingly responded to speculation in a hilarious video posted on June 8, 2023. In the video, she’s rugged up while watching a soccer training session. “I’m single!” she yells to the players. “I’m just a little high maintenance, but I’ll love you so much.”

Us Weekly broke the news, after speaking with an exclusive source. “They aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members only clubs,” the insider told the publication, explaining that the pair are “very casual and low-key.”
Selena, 30 and Drew, 33, have apparently spent time going “bowling and to the movies” the source added.
“Selena can hardly keep her hands off him,” the insider continued, adding that the pair are “having a lot of fun together.”
The budding relationship followed news that Drew was reportedly dating Steve Job’s youngest daughter, Eve Jobs, 24.
Dylan O’Brien (December 2022)
Whilst Selena has kept her dating life largely out of the private eye following her relationship with Justin Bieber, there were rumours the Only Murders in the Building actress was seeing Teen Wolf star Dylan O’Brien in 2022.
Deux Moi shared the report in early December, with a source revealing they had spotted the duo on a bowling date in Brooklyn.
Sharing the tea on Instagram stories, the account also added “Maybe he didn’t ghost her after all” – insinuating that this might not be the first time the Good For You singer and Teen Wolf star have interacted.
