If you were a Swiftie during Taylor Swift’s Reputation era, you’ll know that we were blessed with four music videos.
Look What You Made Me Do, …Ready For It?, End Game, and Delicate.
However, we never received a music video for what’s arguably the best song on the album: Getaway Car.
And, sorry to disappoint you fellow Swifties, we likely never will.
BUT! We could maybe one day get a fifth Reputation music video for King of my Heart…
Joseph Kahn – who directed many Taylor MVs, like Blank Space and Look What You Made Me Do, before she started directing herself – spilled some serious tea while on the July 25, 2025 episode of the Ourselves podcast.
“We started shooting it,” Joseph said of a King of my Heart music video.
“We never finished it because she switched gears in the middle of it to do …Ready for It?,” he continued before clarifying that he and Taylor finished filming King of my Heart but the music video never made it past production.
Joseph then added that the MV was “very conceptual” and “highly visual effects.”
The director went on to say in the podcast episode that he’s glad Taylor now owns her masters, especially as she’s invested so much of her own money into her work.
“I think she had so much fire in her, so much to prove. First song off the new album, she was ready to go all in on it,” Joseph began, talking about Look What You Made Me Do.
“She wrote an unlimited check and went for it. She paid for all of that stuff, and she didn’t have any rights to it. I’m so glad that she has it all back now, because she’s the one that was writing those checks,” he continued.
“It was her personal cash, and she made the investment on every one of those videos and was the force that made it all happen. I was the lucky guy who executed them, but she laid it all on the line.”
Okay, now everyone please go manifest Taylor releasing the King of my Heart music video…
