As the Eras Tour continues to dominate the world stage – there are not many moments from the spectacular 3-hour concert that tend to shock fans (especially considering most have already watched the full spectacle on Disney+). But, that all changed on June 23, 2024, when fans noticed a very familiar face on stage.

Travis, who has attended at least 10 of the tour dates since they began dating, shed light on his brief cameo, revealing he was the one who first broached the idea.

“I initially mentioned it to Tay,” he shared during an episode of his podcast New Heights. “I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 album, that era.’”

Admitting Taylor was surprised that he was serious about the request he added; “I’ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here.”

Travis took the stage during her Tortured Poets Department set, carrying Taylor between her songs ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’ and ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.’

“She found the perfect part of the show for me to come in,” he admitted. “There was no bike in case I ran into someone else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was the safest option.”

While his cameo may have been brief, he did admit he had one major rule for himself, “Do not drop Taylor on your way over to this damn couch.”

“The one thing I told myself was ‘Do not drop the baby,’” he explained to brother Jason Kelce on during the podcast. “The golden rule was ‘Do not drop Taylor, get her to the couch safe.’”

“It was awesome,” he later confirmed. “And I didn’t disappoint Taylor, so that’s all that really matters. ‘Travis do not f–k this up’ That was my number one goal. ‘Do not drop Taylor, do not f–k this up.’”
