In very exciting news, Bring It On actress Christina Milian is expecting her first child with boyfriend Matt Pokora.
The Love Don’t Cost a Thing star, who’s also a fabulous singer, announced the news on Instagram sharing a photo of Matt holding a photo of the ultrasound in front of Christina’s bare and bulging belly.
“New release 2020!” the37-year-old captioned the snap with a nod to both of their music careers. “What a blessing! Let’s do this babe @mattpokora.”
The French songwriter, 33— who was a coach on The Voice Kids France— also shared the same photo in black-and-white with the caption, “Legacy on the way! #happyman.”
Christina— who is also mum to a nine-year-old daughter named Violet whom she shares with ex-husband Terius Youngdell Nash— opened up earlier this year about her desire to grow her family, revealing she was hoping to fall pregnant in the near future.
“I do have the desire to have more children in the future,” Christina told HollywoodLife at the time. Probably just one more because I know the energy it takes to raise a child. I know that I just want to be able to experience each child, which is a gift. I definitely want to have another child in the future. I don’t know when it would be, but I kind of feel like because I know I want two, I know that whenever it happens, I’ll be ready! I’ll let God handle that!”
She also gushed about her boyfriend of two years, telling the outlet she’s never been happier in a relationship.
“He’s honest, and we have a really great relationship. This is different than anything I’ve ever experienced and I’m really happy that the universe brought us together,” she said.
