Seeing as everyone is so intrigued by their shock romance, it comes as no surprise fans were perturbed when the loved-up couple shared a very X-rated photo showing the “Slide Away” singer with her hands down the 22-year-old’s pants.
Since the unexpected photo attracted a sea of attention, the Australian singer’s mum weighed in. Taking to her Instagram story, Angie literally reposted the rogue picture, calling the pair “cheeky buggers”.
As we know, Angie is pretty obsessed with her son’s new squeeze, giving Cody’s new lover her tick of approval.
“Puts a smile on my dial to see you both so blissfully happy,” Angie captioned an Instagram post showing a sweet pic of Miley and Cody. “Hearing your laughs and seeing the smiles on your faces lights up my heart #happyforyouguys #beautifullsouls”
The former Disney star was quick to respond to the shoutout, commenting a series of black hearts under the adorable snap.
Not surprisingly, Cody’s younger sister Alli also adores the pop sensation— who recently returned to acting to star in an episode of Black Mirror— revealing last week that they’re very much in love.
“It’s very new, but they have history and they’re posting about each other a lot,” the 21-year-old singer-songwriter told The Daily Mail.
Yesterday Cody all but confirmed he’d moved into Miley’s L.A. mansion when he shared a photo to Instagram of his bare room which housed a couple of surfboards and a framed photo that was propped up against the door.
He captioned the very telling photo: “Move in day.”
Roommate or not, we know that Miley’s post-divorce relationship with Cody is fast-paced.Less than a month after confirming they were more than just friends with benefits, the unlikely duo has been putting their love for one another on display, oftentimes grossing fans with their intense PDA sessions.
In spite of what people think about their romance, Cody reckons it’s the real deal.
“I’m very happy. We are very, very happy. She’s creative. She’s very passionate about what she does, and I’m very similar in that sense.”
“That’s why we get along so well. We just have a ball, yeah, and that’s the most important part of a relationship, you know? The reason why it hasn’t been a really crazy sudden thing is because we have been friends for so long…[we] found each other again in a space where we’re both not partying, working really hard, and it just keeps things healthy and it’s good.”
