Miley Cyrus is on the mend and, as expected, her boyfriend Cody Simpson hasn’t left her side since undergoing vocal cord surgery.

After a short stint in Sydney, Australia, the 22-year-old is said to have rushed back to Los Angeles just in time to keep his girlfriend— who’s on forced bed rest— company as she recovers.
“Cody is by her side. They are still doing well,” a source close to the loved up couple told People, adding Cody is at Miley’s beck and call. “She seems very happy. Cody will make sure she isn’t bored.”
According to the insider, the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s “surgery went well and she is resting up at home now”. While news of her hospitalisation came as a shock to fans, the pop sensation— whose had to postpone recording new music— is said to have discovered the medical issue after suffering from a severe case of tonsilitis last month, with a doctor urging her to have surgery before the end of the year.
“She’s doing great and will be back and better than ever early next year.”
As she continues to rest her vocal cords, Miley’s social media presence has gone downhill, with the Black Mirror actress only posting a couple of selfies with her new man in the last few days.
The sudden change comes a week after body language expert Blanca Clobb called Miley and Cody’s bluff, claiming their OTT couple photos prove their unexpected relationship is all for show and “shock value”.
“Miley’s hand down the front of Cody’s pants is all about shock value to the world and a secret message between the two of them,” she said, referring to a recent Instagram photo showing the shirtless “iYiYi” singer posing while Miley’s hand was touching his crotch.
While she didn’t reveal what the “secret message” was, Blanca said Cody is just “enjoying the moment” while Miley is proving she “doesn’t care about possible comments or criticism”.
With rumours swirling her constant need to post Cody on her Instagram story is all part of a bigger plan to win her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth back, it’s little wonder the former Disney star was “devastated” last week when she realised he’d unfollowed her on Instagram six weeks before she mustered up the courage to do it herself.
“She thought somehow they would find their way back to each other and she was holding on to that, but then Liam unfollowed her and that was his way of saying it’s really done,” they dished to Radar Online. “Yeah, Liam is not turning back. It’s quite sad.”
It comes after another source close to Miley claimed she saw red and “turned into a green-eyed monster” when the Aussie actor stepped out with his new girlfriend, Maddison Brown.
“She’s having difficulty accepting that he’s happy with Maddison,” a friend of the Hunger Games actor shared. “Miley’s trying to act like she doesn’t care, but she’s secretly fuming.”
