Despite the fact they made a solid pact to stay committed to their partners, peace between this year’s Married At First Sight contestants will soon be destroyed due to three explosive cheating scandals

WATCH: Cyrell says she’s annoyed more cheating drama will ensue

And while their scandalous and deceptive behaviour will no doubt make for some cracking reality TV, Cyrell Paule says she’s disappointed multiple marriages will soon implode as faithfulness continues to be the expectation to the rule.

“So much for that toast about no one stealing each other’s husbands,” the pregnant star told WHO exclusively after last night’s tense episode aired.

“I know from a source that there is going to be more cheating going on and it’s disappointing. I really thought that after last season, they were going to focus on finding love and finding people who could be a genuine match for each other.”

“But I guess that doesn’t bring in the dollars.”

As we know, MAFS bride Cathy Evans appeared on Stav, Abby and Matt on hit105 last week where she confirmed their pact to refrain from cheating went belly up very quickly.

“Look, I’m going to vouch for it that the girl code was broken, definitely,” she said. “And that’s where drama followed, obviously.”

Then, in another interview with Nova 9.69‘s Fitzy, Whippa and Sarah McGilvra later that day, she and her on-screen husband Josh Pihlak dished on the drama, admitting we can expect far worse than Cyrell throwing a glass of red wine on her arch-nemesis, Martha Kalifatidis

“It’s a circus,” logistics investigator Sarah said before adding that the feuds during this season are far worse than what we’ve seen to date.

“There was a glass of red wine thrown over someone in the last series. Can that be topped?” Fitzy asked. “Yep,” Josh and Cathy said simultaneously.

The couple’s comments are a far cry from what Nine Network producers have been claiming, with Programming Director, Hamish Turner, revealing during a recent interview that this season will be no nowhere near as scandalous as the last. In fact, he said it’s going to be “a delicate balance” between love and drama.

“There will be drama, there is no doubt and we’re not afraid of that. But the beginning of the show is definitely people looking for love and that should absolutely be the driving force behind it,” he said.

He also added that the network has recognised Australia may not be as receptive to the show as they were last year if the same kind of drama ensues.
“There is a certain amount of addressing last year. You can’t sanitise it too much [but] I think the mood of the nation has changed a little bit with the bushfires. I think people need a little more love because of all the travails we’ve been through over the last few months.”
