‘Nanny was such a huge influence in my life… she was the leader of the pack,’ she told viewers, adding that it was Nanny Fae who spent a lot of time raising her and her brother because their other brother was unwell.

‘It’s really important that I do this dance for her and channel her pure spirit.’

And while her tribute was deemed ‘sensational’ and ‘magic’ on social media, the judges chose to keep former AFL star, Travis Cloke in the competition, when they found themselves in the bottom two.

Judge Sharna Burgess was stumped when it came time to take her pick, telling Travis and Angie, ‘Man, this is awful, this is awful because it is so hard to choose between the two of you.

‘But looking back at all of the dances that you’ve done and the potential that I can see in someone to go forward, the couple that I choose to save is Travis and Violeta.

Tristan Macmanus said, ‘I would have to choose Angie,’ meaning it was Craig who would make the final decision.

He chose Travis.

‘I suppose you can’t win them all,’ Angie said, adding, ‘I tried so hard.’
