However, her agreement to partake in the upcoming season of Dancing With The stars has been met with an intense amount of backlash.
Gearing up to appear in her fourth reality series in the last three years, dozens of viewers have claimed they’re fed up with seeing her on the TV, admitting they’d rather see a different celebrity take her place. Yikes!
Following her Instagram announcement on Tuesday afternoon, many followers of the 28-year-old unleashed in the comments section, with one begging her to “give it a rest”.
“Gogglebox, Im a Celebrity, Bachelorette and now Dancing with the stars, seriously Angie just stop,” someone commented.
“What’s next Big Brother, Married At First Sight, Farmer Wants A Wife?” asked another.
“How many more reality tv shows r there for Angie to appear on, turning into Eddie everywhere McGuire,” a different user wrote, while another chimed in saying, “Cannot believe Angie Kent has gone on yet ANOTHER reality show, Christ haven’t we seen enough of her at this point? Definitely reached burn out.”
“Bit rich of her to question her suitors’ intentions when she is certainly making the most of her 15 minutes,” one savage user tweeted, referring to Angie’s decision to question her now boyfriend Carlin Sterritt’s intentions when his brother claimed he hoped to pursue an acting career.
While Angie is yet to reply to any of the nasty comments, she was forced to defend herself on Wednesday afternoon when her followers accused her of editing her DWTS promotional photo which showed her piggybacking her dance partner, Julian Caillon. Rumours of a photoshop fail began when one Instagram user noticed that her second leg was missing from the happy snap! “Where is your other leg. Did you photoshop it out?” one confused follower asked. “Love you and love this but where is your leg? What’s happened here?” another asked.
“Did they edit your leg off? Please explain ASAP.”
After noticing accusations that she’d suffered an epic editing blunder, she cleared the air on social media— and even recreated the snap, just to prove her followers wrong.
“Alright, we’ve had like 50,000 questions on the picture [asking], ‘Where’s your leg?’ I’ve got two legs, as you can see,” the reality TV veteran said. “I am going to show you that it wasn’t photoshopped, I am just really unfit so he had to hold me!”
“It looks invisible, but there it is,” Julian said while showing that the former Gogglebox star’s leg was tucked behind his back.
“So that’s what happened. So we thought we’d just show you, because there’s no Photoshop,” Angie concluded.
