Dan MacPherson has successfully taken the step from Australian TV to the bright lights of Hollywood.
MacPherson, 36, who once hosted Dancing With The Stars is now starring in US action TV series Strike Back.
The boy from Cronulla, who married fellow actor and Packed To The Rafters star Zoe Ventoura in 2015, admitted that he was in “no mans land” before moving to America to further pursue his career.
“There were a couple of years there where I felt like I was in the middle of an ocean and I couldn’t see land on either side [but] I just had to keep moving forward,” he told News Corp.

MacPherson plays Samuel Wyatt, part of a squad working to track down a terrorist. The actor has had to prepare for the role by training military style and learning how to shoot a rifle.
As well as Strike Back, MacPherson will also appear in crime series APB roles, the soon-to-be-released film The Osiris Child and A Wrinkle In Time, starring Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Kaling.
