Dannii Minogue may best be known for her roles on talent shows these days, but it appears the singer is returning to her roots as she’ll pick-up the mic again to open for Take That during their Australian tour.
Minogue is a long-time friend of the band members as both acts launched their careers in the UK in the early 90s.
Earlier this year, Minogue was hand-picked by Take That’s lead singer Gary Barlow to judge on his reality TV show Let It Shine.
In the lead-up to the announcement, Minogue shared how much of a fan she was of the band recently by posting a picture of Take That’s single Never Forget.
“One of my favourite pop anthems 🙌🏻 @takethat,” the 45-year-old captioned the artwork.
The band will head Down Under in November, beginning their first show in Perth on the 11th and ending it in Newcastle on the 19th.
