The elated couple, who are already parents to Ivy Mae, 2, and Indi Rae, 4, took to Instagram to announce the news, revealing they’d named their bundle of joy Isla Rose Warner.
“We welcomed our newest family member Isla Rose Warner at 10:30 pm late last night,” the former captain of the Australian national cricket team wrote on Instagram. “@candywarner1 was absolutely amazing. Mum and Bub doing very well and her big sisters are over the moon. #prouddad”
The mum-of-three and former ironwoman-turned-model also shared a family snap to Instagram, revealing they’re over the moon about the safe delivery of their new bub. Candice gave birth at the Lindo Wing in London where Kate Middleton and Amal Clooney also had their children.
“Welcome to the world our gorgeous Isla Rose Warner. Born June 30th at 10:30pm. Our little family is now complete. Ivy and Indi are so proud of their sister. @davidwarner31 Your support was and is amazing. Isla we love you.#blessed.”
The family also posted some sweet shots to their Instagram stories, with Candice lightly poking fun at her hubby for falling asleep in the hospital.
“It’s hard work having a baby darling,” Candice wrote over a picture of David fast asleep by her bedside.
David and his family are currently based in London while he plays in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. This is the first time David has competed since the ball tampering scandal in South Africa in 2018.
Earlier this year, Candice gushed about her husband’s parenting skills.
“Dave is thrilled, he can’t wait. You know what, he’s a fantastic cricketer but I always say he’s an even better father. He is so hands-on and the girls just love him.”
Congratulations again!
