Demi Lovato might have something new to sing about.
The star, 24, was spotted holding hands with UFC fighter Luke Rockhold just before entering Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 12. The duo was there for UFC 205 to watch the lightweight title match between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez.
Lovato wore a black mini-dress with a matching jacket and heels, while Rockhold sported a black suit and white button-down shirt. During the match, Rockhold had his arm around Lovato and they smiled for the camera when they were shown on the jumbotron.
In August, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair had “gone on a couple of dates.”
“They met through friends a couple months ago,” said the source. “He also attended her concert in Anaheim.”
And at the time, the source said neither Lovato nor Rockhold, 31, was looking to settle down.
“They like each other, but they’re not exclusive,” said the source. “They’re both open to dating other people.”
Over the past few months, however, it’s possible the UFC fighter has encouraged the singer to step into the ring. Earlier this month, Lovato posted a video of herself boxing with Sylvester Stallone. In the clip, she knocks out Stallone, affectionately calling him Rocky.
