Diane Kruger pays tribute to her late stepfather

On November 8, Diane Kruger took to Instagram to announce the passing of her stepfather Wolfgang Bieneck.

The 40-year-old actress paid tribute with a heartfelt message and a loving shot of him with her mother, Maria-Theresa Heidkrüger. “Thank you for making my mom so happy and bringing peace to our family. R.I.P.,” she captioned the image.

In the past, Kruger took her her mother and stepfather to a number of red-carpet events, including the 2010 Goldene Kamera Awards in Berlin, Germany.
