After breaking his heart in The Bachelorette Australia finale it appears leading lady Elly Miles and runner-up Joe Woodbury may have had a sneaky catch up in their hometown.

Spotted by gossip podcast So Dramatic! both Elly and Joe recently shared Instagram photos from the same Newcastle pub on the same day.
Joe posed alongside a group of mates can be seen at a wooden table with a lilac building in the background plastered with the quote, ‘No bad vibes’.
“Best day of the year ! Pinpoint party 💛,” the former bachelor star captioned the snap.
Meanwhile Elly shared a smiley pic with a close friend directly in front of the same wall and quote.
“Incase you were wondering, the wall behind us says ‘no bad vibes’ & that is 100% accurate @katieecaldwell” she wrote.
Judging by Joe’s comment suggesting the venue was hosting a popular party it could be mere coincidence the exes were in the same place at the same. That is, if you believe in coincidences.
Elly and Joe caused quite the stir on The Bachelorette when it was revealed the couple not only knew each other through mutual friends in Newcastle but had also briefly dated prior to the show.
Not long after entering the mansion, Joe admitted to his fellow bachelors that he did know Elly before coming on the show. In fact, Joe lived with Elly’s best friend, Katie, for six months.
While Joe was tight lipped about exactly what had gone on between himself and Elly, the Bachelorette spilled further details to The Daily Telegraph.
“I was very shocked [to see him on the show],” Elly revealed.
“I was speechless. I had no idea … We had a bit of a casual romance.”
Taking Joe all the way to the finale alongside eventual winner Frazer Neate, Elly broke protocol in the finale and headed to her runner-up’s room early to break the news he wasn’t her final choice.
Following the heartbreaking moment the 25-year-old took to Instagram to reflect on his journey.
“Sometimes things don’t work out, no matter how much we want them to, and that’s just life. I’ve said from the beginning of this whole experience that I’m a firm believer of fate, and that everything happens for a reason, and for me this means that it hasn’t been my fate to find love here.”
Elly has since split with her winner Frazer after weeks of speculation the couple had called it quits.
“I just wanted to come on here and say a couple of things. I just wanted you to hear it from me. Frazer and I are no longer together,” Elly revealed in a teary video.
“We broke up over the weekend. I think we just grew apart after the show. It was really really hard having the distance and the secrecy and I guess everything that comes along with having a new relationship in the media.”
Perhaps a reunion between Elly and Joe is on the cards?
