Emma Watson just gifted us all the Christmas present we never knew we needed: a super-cute new pic of her with her Harry Potter mates!
WATCH: Emma Watson shines in the trailer for her new film.
As far as reunion snaps go, this is a good one. Emma, who played Hermione Granger in the hit film franchise, shared the pic on Instagram along with the simple caption: “Merry Christmas from us ☺️.”
Joining the stunner for the mini Potter reunion were Tom Felton (who played resident evil guy Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (slightly strange but good-hearted Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginnie Weasley) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom).
Sadly, Daniel Radcliffe (who played the title character, Harry) and Rupert Grint (who starred as Harry and Hermione’s best friend Ron Weasley) weren’t at the get-together – but the snap nonetheless gave Potter-verse Stans a reason to rejoice this holiday season.
“This is why I have instagram,” quipped one fan.
“This is what dreams are made of ❤️😍,” wrote another.
Of course, there’s no point in a good Insta post if you don’t tag your mates so they can on-share it – and that’s exactly what #teamharry did. Tom posted a couple of different pics from the same series, including a colour version, with the cute caption:
“Seasons’ greetings from my school mates.”
Naww!
Although the final film was released almost a decade ago (yes, really!), the cast are still clearly very close. And this is far from the first time they’ve shared a reunion on social media. Tom and Matthew often feature in each other’s Instagram feeds, as do Emma and Tom –
In fact, Emma and Tom share sweet snaps together so often that it’s set tongues wagging that they may secretly (but not very subtly) be together – and Rupert seemed to confirm the rumours in November.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Rupert revealed there was definitely a little something going on on set between two of the cast members, sparking rumours that the romance may have picked up again in recent times.
“There was always something,” he spilled about the chemistry between the pair, whose on-screen characters were sworn enemies.
“There was a little bit of a spark.”
