Channel Nine presenter and Footy Show host Erin Molan revealed last night that her 14-month-old daughter Eliza was rushed to hospital over the weekend. Taking to Instagram, the fan favourite sports journalist said that while the experience was terrifying, her adorable bub— who’s “all good” now— received the best care.
“We had our first experience in an Emergency Department with Eliza last night,” said Erin, who shares Eliza with her police officer fiancé Sean Ogilvy. “We could not have been better looked after… the nurses and doctors (even the other patients waiting with us) were just so loving and caring and genuinely amazing.”

After welcoming her first child with her fiance on June 6, 2018, Erin— who suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum during her pregnancy—opened up about the realities of motherhood, revealing it’s “bloody hard”.
“It is the most amazing thing in the entire world times a billion but it is also really bloody hard, that is just the reality of it,” she told The Daily Telegraph. “I just think you are allowed to be really grateful and you are allowed to acknowledge that you are so blessed but you are also allowed to find it tough because it is a really tough gig,” she continued, adding that she wished more women would open up about the struggles of motherhood.
